    Graduate Programs
    The statement of purpose should be 600 - 1000 words in length and in English. Please describe your aptitude and motivation for a graduate study in your area of specialization, including your preparation for this field of study, your academic plans or research interests in you chosen area of study, and your future career goals. Please be specific about why BUU would be a good intellectual fit for you.
    Undergraduate Programs
    The statement of purpose should be 500-600 words in length and in English. Please describe your aptitude and motivation for a study, including your preparation for this field of study and your future career goals. Please be specific about why BUU would be a good intellectual fit for you.

Preparing personal information of TWO recommenders. Your recommenders such as name and email address will be asked during the online application process.

Applicant must prepare the following transcripts.
Graduate applicant: all College or University transcripts
Undergraduate applicant: High school or Secondary school transcripts

If your institution provides a transcript in a language other than English, we require that you submit a translation of the transcript that is either provided by the institution or a certified translator. Upon submitting your online application, applicant is required to upload image file (as "jpg", "png" file) of the transcripts.

BUU requires that you submit an official score report (upload image file (as "jpg", "png" file)). Requirements for each degree are follow:
    Doctoral Degree Program
          (1) a TOEFL Paper-based score with a minimum of 550; or
          (2) a TOEFL Computer-based score with a minimum of 213; or
          (3) a TOEFL Internet-based score with a minimum of 79; or
          (4) a BUU test score with a minimum of percentage of 80, attained from a test are administered by Burapha University language institute, or
          (5) an IELTS score with a minimum of 6.0.
    Master Degree Program
          (1) a TOEFL Paper-based score with a minimum of 500; or
          (2) a TOEFL Computer-based score with a minimum of 173; or
          (3) a TOEFL Internet-based score with a minimum of 61; or
          (4) a BUU test score with a minimum of percentage of 60, attained from a test are administered by Burapha University language institute, or
          (5) an IELTS score with a minimum of 5.5.
    Bachelor Degree Program
          Bachelor's applicant is required to submit English proficiency score report e.g. TOEFL/ IELTS/ Certificate of Proficiency in English, etc. (Remark: If applicants to bachelor's studies don't submit English proficiency score report, the admissions committee may let they demonstrate their meet the English requirement.)

The photograph must show your head and the top of your shoulders only, with your face central on the picture and with nothing covering your face; be taken with your eyes open and clearly visible (no sunglasses). Applicant is required to upload image file (as "jpg", "png" file) of the photograph.

Scholarship for International Students
    Burapha university provides some of scholarships for students, lecturers and staff of BUU. For more information, please contacts International Relations Office, Burapha University

Step 1 – Completing the Online Application Form
     (1) Complete all relevant sections of the online application form and attach all required documents
     (2) Submit the completed online application form
     (3) The most important thing is to submit ONLY ONE submission. If you submit multiple applications, you will delay your admission decision.

Step 2 – Selection process
     The program committee will review ALL applications upon the online submission files are completed. Applicants will be informed if any additional process is needed as soon as possible.

Step 3 – Wait for a response
     Admission result will be informed via email. Successful international applicants will receive a letter of acceptance which will be printed on the official letterhead of the university and signed by an officially authorized person from the University. The letter will provide information on the field of study, the name of school/ faculty, the duration of study, a certain commencing date and other important details. (If an application is unsuccessful, applicants will receive an explanatory letter via email.)

Step 4 – Applying for a Student Visa
     Apply for your student visa at the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in your country. Apparently, you should be granted a non-immigrant: education class or Non-ED, which is the right type of visa for study purpose. More information on visa application, visit www.mfa.go.th.

Step 5 – Arranging Accommodation
     The University strongly suggests that you find a place to stay prior arrival. BUU also provides certain amount of dormitory on campus. It's better to make a reservation before arrival.

Step 6 – Plan for First Arrival
     Once you arrive BUU, you should go to the International Relation Office (IRO), the 8th floor, the Office of the President Building, Chon Buri as soon as you can. Alternatively, a program staff will be able to assist you with a necessary settle down, currency exchange, the Orientation Program, and where you should go for your enrollment session including open a bank account.

Step 7 – Enrollment
     With the university's rules, all new students have to enroll in order to confirm their enrollment with BUU. This procedure is administered by the office of the registrar. Note that an individual program may require student to take some fundamental courses before starting enrollment.
